Followings are applicable when procedures based on laws or ordinances, etc. are required.

When
(The timing of procedures)
Prior to the submission of applications or notifications pertaining to the installation of factories or workplaces, based on the rules of lows and regulations related with land usage and pollution control, etc.
Who
(Procedure Targets)

1.Those who intend to install factories or workplaces of 20 ha or more (in some areas, 15 ha or more, or 10 ha or more) land area (including those who intend to make increase of 20 ha or more (in some areas, 15 ha or more, or 10 ha or more) land area).

2. Those who intend to install facilities of 10,000 m3/day or more sewage (in some areas 7,500 m3/day or more), or facilities of 10 kiloliters/hr or more equivalent crude oil combustion capacity (including those who intend to increase the same).

Flow of Procedures
Processing Period Whole procedures (from the submission of the statement of procedures to the public notice of making assessment report) takes approximately 2 〜 several years (including a period required for the researches by business operator etc.).
